How about key issues such as the environment, healthcare, immigration, the war in Iraq and more? @15, a new platform that Best Buy is launching to connect with teens – online and in communities – wants to hear what you have to say. On Wednesday, September 17, the first-ever @15 IMO (In My Opinion) survey will launch on www.at15.com and MySpace.

Fall After-School Program Begins

The PCTV fall after-school program will officially begin on September 15th. The program will consist of Our Turn TV show production M-TH and "INDY" independent filmmaking on F. AVID! Summer Media Team #2

We are Unknown Talent Films 5 teens ages 14 to 15 as part of PCTV’s summer AVID program: Lech Lor, Abdullahi Mohamed, Mohammed Galow, Eddie Stone, Shane Hawkins. We make inspiring documentaries and narrative films that deal with real situations. We are 5 creative, outgoing, and energetic young filmmakers, working to create useful and truthful work.

AVID! Summer Media Team

Meet the youth production team Ice Pick Studios. Abdi, Luke, Ayan, Roba, and Trey. Together they will produce two films this summer about the issue of "gun control" and how the issue plays out nationally and here locally in MPLS. They will pay special attention to the MN "conceal and carry" law and the controversy surrounding it. They will also look at how legally bought guns get into the hands of criminals. The final screening of their films will be on August 15th at the downtown MPLS Central Public Library. Look for a team press release and more info to come.

PCTV Film Wins Festival Award

The PCTV produced film "La Llorona" was awarded the "Special Mention" Award in the narrative category at the 2008 .edu Film Festival. "La Llorona" was made by the following PCTV youth producers: Ashley Clinton, Daniel Coronado, Darius Clinton, Oscar Velazquez, Estephanie Luis, & Gustavo Luis. Congratulations to all the filmmakers! PCTV Youth Producers at Peace Jam
