Hello everyone. Things are really starting to pick up with the after school
programs. Last week we had several new youth attend and new volunteers each
day. The OUR TURN crew voted and chose "Immigration Issues in MN" for the
new show topic. We have a couple of shoots set up for this week, and hope
to have more set up for next week. The MV groups are proceeding well.
There is no school this week on Friday, but INDY will still meet. We will
probably start a bit early at 3 PM to give everyone more time to work.

Film Festivals in 2006:
"Speak Out" by Brandy Hyatt was shown as part of the Girls in the Director's Chair Film Festival at the Walker Art Center in March 2006.
"Sweet Nights" by Bridget Collins was show at the Future Filmmakers Festivals as part of the Chicago International Film Festival in June 2006. Bridget traveled to Chicago to be present at the screening.
"Sweet Nights" was also shown as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival in July 2006.
"Dreams" by Nakia Hyatt was selected and shown at the San Diego Women Film Festival in October 2006.
