Film Festivals in 2006:

"Speak Out" by Brandy Hyatt was shown as part of the Girls in the Director's Chair Film Festival at the Walker Art Center in March 2006.

"Sweet Nights" by Bridget Collins was show at the Future Filmmakers Festivals as part of the Chicago International Film Festival in June 2006. Bridget traveled to Chicago to be present at the screening.

"Sweet Nights" was also shown as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival in July 2006.

"Dreams" by Nakia Hyatt was selected and shown at the San Diego Women Film Festival in October 2006.

Michael took a group of PCTV youth producers to help do a workshop at the "Peace Jam Slam" on Saturday, November 3rd. Peace Jam is a program designed to get teens involved in peace making strategies. It was held this year at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul. The PCTV youth lead Peace Jam teens in two workshops about developing a video PSA and writing an effective "slogan". The goal of the workshop was to have groups of teens produce a short video PSA. Everyone had a blast! PCTV Youth Producers at Peace Jam: Ashley, Diego, Joel, Daniel.
